Aaron (Abu Ahron) ben Samuel
(fl. 9th cent)
   Italian mystic He left Baghdad and taught kabbalah in Italy. His pupil Moses ben Kalonymos of Lucca carried on his teaching in Germany. He is regarded as the father of kabbalistic study in Europe.
